1For this reason I, Paul, a prisoner of Christ Jesus for you Gentiles, 2If indeed you have heard of the stewardship of the grace of God which was given to me for you: 3That by revelation he made known to me the mystery; as I wrote before briefly. 4When you read this, you will be able to understand my insight into the mystery of Christ, 5Which in other ages was not made known to the sons of men as it has now been revealed to his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit; 6That is, that the Gentiles are fellow heirs, members of the same body, and sharers together of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel: 7Of which I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given to me by the working of his power. 8To me, though I am the very least of all the saints, was this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ; 9And make all men see what is the plan of the mystery, which from past ages has been hidden in God, who created all things: 10That now, to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly places, the manifold wisdom of God might be known through the church, 11According to the eternal purpose which he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord: 12In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by faith in him. 13Therefore I ask that you not be discouraged at my tribulations for you, which are your glory. 14For this reason I bow my knees to the Father, 15From whom every family in heaven and earth is named, 16That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; 17That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18May be able to comprehend, with all the saints, its breadth, and length, and height, and depth; 19And to know the love of Christ, which passes knowledge, that you might be filled with all the fulness of God. 20Now to him who is able to do immeasurably beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, 21To him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever. Amen.
