1 You whose home is the shelter of God Most High, 2can say to the LORD, “My refuge, my fortress, 3For he saves you from fowler’s snare, 4He shelters you with his pinions, 5You need not fear the terror of night, 6nor the plague that stalks in darkness, 7A thousand may fall at your side, 8You will only look on with your eyes, 9As for you, the LORD is your refuge, 10You will never be met by misfortune, 11for he orders his angels to guard you, 12They will carry you with their hands, 13You will tread upon lions and adders, 14“Because of their love for me, I will deliver them, 15I will answer their cry and be with them in trouble, 16I will give them a life of many days,
