1 Bless the LORD, O my soul. 2covered with robe of light. 3He lays the beams of his chambers on water. 4He takes the winds for his messengers, 5He founded the earth upon pillars, 6With the garment of ocean he covered it, 7But at your rebuke they fled, 8mountains rose, valleys sank down 9They dared not pass the bounds set for them, 10He sent brooks into the valleys, 11The wild beasts all drink from them, 12The birds have their home by the banks, 13From his chambers above he gives drink to the mountains, 14He makes grass grow for the cattle, 15wine, to gladden hearts; 16The trees of the LORD drink their fill 17where the little birds build their nest, 18The high hills are for the wild goats, 19He created the moon to mark seasons, 20You make it dark: night comes, 21Young lions that roar for their prey, 22At sunrise they slink away, 23Then people go forth to their work, 24How many, O LORD, are your works, 25And there is the great broad sea, 26There go the ships, 27They all look in hope to you, 28And you give with open hand; 29When you hide your face, they are terrified; 30But a breath from your lips creates them, 31May the glory of the LORD be forever, 32A glance of his makes the earth tremble, 33I will sing to the LORD while I live, 34May my musing be sweet to him. 35But may sinners be swept from the earth,
