1Bless JEHOVAH, my soul. 2He covers himself with light as with a garment. 3He lays the beams of his chambers in the waters. 4He makes his angels winds; 5He laid the foundations of the earth, 6You covered it with the deep as with a cloak. 7At your rebuke they fled. 8The mountains rose, 9You have set a boundary that they may not pass over; 10He sends forth springs into the valleys. 11They give drink to every animal of the field. 12The birds of the sky nest by them. 13He waters the mountains from his chambers. 14He causes the grass to grow for the livestock, 15wine that makes glad the heart of man, 16JEHOVAH's trees are well watered, 17where the birds make their nests. 18The high mountains are for the wild goats. 19He appointed the moon for seasons. 20You make darkness, and it is night, 21The young lions roar after their prey, 22The sun rises, and they steal away, 23Man goes forth to his work, 24JEHOVAH, how many are your works! 25There is the sea, great and wide, 26There the ships go, 27These all wait for you, 28You give to them; they gather. 29You hide your face: they are troubled; 30You send forth your Spirit: they are created. 31Let the glory of JEHOVAH endure forever. 32He looks at the earth, and it trembles. 33I will sing to JEHOVAH as long as I live. 34Let your meditation be sweet to him. 35Let sinners be consumed out of the earth.
